Employee Spotlight: Melody MundenMelody Munden is ALMCO’s Administrative Assistant and has worked on the ALMCO team for 42 years. After graduating high school, she graduated from the Rochester Area Vocational School’s Secretarial Program and spent 1 year at Moorhead State College. She was employed in 1979 by the ALMCO Division of King-Seeley Thermos Co. as Secretary to the ALMCO President, Jerry Brandt. She also assisted both the Sales and Engineering Departments with correspondence and quotations.

Over her 42 years at ALMCO, Melody has remained a constant presence and familiar face to ALMCO and its customers.

“I have worked with Melody for 34 years and have never worked with anyone that has a better work ethic and commitment to the company. She cares about ALMCO and all our employees. It is always great to start the workday with Melody greeting you as you come in!” – Tim Grahn, ALMCO General Manager

When asked what working for an employee-owned company means to her, Melody replied, “Having the opportunity to be a part of the overall ownership and equity of the company.” Melody hopes that after working with ALMCO our customers “feel confident that ALMCO is providing the proper equipment and products for their processing needs. Trusting ALMCO and its employees.”

When Melody is not working, she enjoys bicycle riding, doing the crossword puzzles in the local paper, reading, and walking – especially around the lake and our State Park. Melody has been married for 39 years and has 2 sons and 2 granddaughters. She’s looking forward to retirement in the near future, and spending time with her granddaughters.

The entire ALMCO Team and Innovance organization thank Melody for her years of dedicated service and her valuable additions to the team!
